Caramel Ice Cream with Nectarines

Yummm, I needed something sweet tonight after the delicious and oh so rich dinner the mister made tonight.

The title says it all: Caramel Ice Cream with Nectarines. The fruit is perfectly ripe, the ice cream is sweet and rich – heaven on a summer evening!

Yum! I need to get some nectarines, been waiting for them to be ripe. What did “the mister” make, it sounds so unknowingly good.

  It was really good! Almost like a caramel apple. When I bought the nectarines they were still a bit hard, but they ripened up nicely on the counter over the past few days.
  
  Alvaro made a Causa – I think you’ve had it before – its a peruvian mashed potato cake, with chicken and avocado. Super yummy but really rich too.
